Vietnamese carmaker VinFast is preparing to launch three new electric models in the Indian market by early 2026. The company wants to offer more zero-emission choices to local customers by adding a micro SUV, a three-row family car, and a large luxury SUV to its current lineup.
This move builds on VinFast’s recent entry into India with the VF 6 and VF 7. The new models are aimed at different price levels, helping the brand to solidify its position against the already existing electric car manufacturers.
VinFast VF3
The upcoming range includes the VF 3, which is a small two-door electric SUV, and the Limo Green, a seven-seater plug-in MPV. The upcoming models are meant to appeal to a wide range of customers, from daily city commuters to larger families seeking a more premium zero-emission option.
The VF 3, a micro SUV designed for urban commutes and has a rugged silhouette with a high ground clearance and is anticipated to be one of the least expensive zero-emission alternatives. The 18.6 kWh battery can support the small car for around 60 km, and it mainly focuses on customers with the need for a small, easy-to-park electric vehicle that can be charged at home.

Limo Green, a Seven Seater MPV
The Limo Green is a new model made for families who need extra space.
This hybrid MPV showcases a three-row seating configuration and a simple interior with a big touchscreen for controls. It has a 60 kWh battery, which is responsible for offering a considerable range, thereby making it a good choice for those who are on the lookout for long-distance commuting using the electric vehicle support every other day.

VF 9 a Luxury Flagship SUV
The VF 9 will dominate as the top electric SUV in VinFast’s range. It is all about comfort and technology in the car, with the likes of reclining seats, a skylight, and cutting-edge safety measures for the driver. A large 123 kWh battery paired with dual motors delivers strong performance and an extended driving range, aimed at customers who want a premium electric SUV without compromise.

| VF 9 | Luxury SUV | Mid 2026 |
Expected Price Range
The lineup includes the compact VF3 with an expected price range of ₹8–10 lakh, the MPV-style Limo Green comes with an expected price range of ₹19–24 lakh, and the large SUV VF9 with an expected price range of ₹70–75 lakh. Local Production Growth
VinFast is currently building a huge plant in Tamil Nadu for the assembly of its electric vehicles. This step will certainly cut down the company’s costs and speed up the delivery of the battery-powered cars to the customers. VinFast, on the other hand, wants to make the price attractive by producing cars in India and help the country go green with electric vehicles.
