TVS M1-S electric maxi-scooter, which has a 150 km range and 105 kmph top speed, was announced by the manufacturer before its EICMA 2025 premiere.
TVS Motor Company, in collaboration with Singapore’s ION Mobility, has teased its new M1-S electric maxi-scooter ahead of its global unveiling at EICMA 2025. While the scooter will make its first sale in Indonesia, the official launch will happen at the Milan-based exhibition. This is part of TVS’s plan to showcase six new products and expand its global EV portfolio with the support of its investment and expertise.
EICMA Debut Soon
TVS Motor Company has announced that its new electric maxi-scooter, the M1-S, will be featured at the Milan-based EICMA 2025. It was briefly indicated by the company on its social media before the event, and coming in with the M1-S are five other new products. No doubt the Indian manufacturer’s commitment to expansion in the international electric two-wheeler market is evident by their participation in this exhibition.
Power and Range
The TVS M1-S is creatively combining performance and distance. Its heart is a 4.3 kWh battery pack powering a 12.5kW electric motor. Thus giving a decent rating of 16.76 bhp and also a high torque of 45 Nm.

Design and Look
The M1-S carries an assertive and elegant futuristic portrayal, which is the fashion for maxi-scooters. The front part is streamlined and equipped with amazing twin LED headlamps featuring DRL (Daytime Running Lights) in an eyebrow-style design. Design elements comprise a practical flat floorboard, a comfortable single-piece seat, and a sleek rear grab rail that gives the scooter a combination of sporty and functional aesthetics.
Smart Technology
The new maxi-scooter is loaded with cutting-edge digital features. It is equipped with a big seven-inch TFT display, which also supports TVS’s SmartXonnect capabilities. The rider has access to a range of features such as smartphone connectivity, music control, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts. Furthermore, a smart key system for keyless entry and start is likely to be included in the package as well.
India Launch Possible
The M1-S was collaboratively designed with ION Mobility, a Singapore-based EV startup where TVS has a strategic investment. The scooter will be unveiled at EICMA 2025, and the first market is anticipated to be Indonesia; however, the increasing focus of TVS on its domestic electric vehicle portfolio indicates a possible launch in India in the future.
