TVS iQube Variants: Which One Should You Buy In 2026?

      Quick Reads

      • TVS iQube is available in three variants
      • Battery pack sizes range from 2.2 kWh to 5.1 kWh
      • The top ST variant has a claimed range of up to 212km

TVS Motor’s electric scooter lineup is quite popular in India, with best-selling products like the TVS iQube and the TVS Orbiter. What started as a single electric scooter, has now evolved into a full-blown lineup with multiple variants, and feature lists.

But, having multiple variants with different equipment levels also means that it becomes confusing for buyers who are trying to figure out which variant will actually suit all of their needs. TVS Motor Company currently sells three variants of the TVS iQube Electric: the iQube Standard, the iQube S, and the iQube ST. In this detailed explainer, we have broken down every variant for its spec and value, along with their latest ex-showroom prices:

TVS iQube Variant Battery Pack Capacity Price in Rs
TVS iQube Standard 2.2 kWH Rs 1,13,887
      3.1 kWh Rs 1,26,105
      3.5 kWh Rs 1,34,059
      TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh Rs 1,61,683
TVS iQube ST 5.3 kWh Rs 1,83,655

*(all prices are effective ex-showroom Bengaluru)

Also, if you want a full breakdown of all the specs of the variants along with warranty and other additional information, click here to download the pdf.

TVS iQube Standard: 2.2 kWh, 3.1 kWh, and 3.5 kWh

The standard TVS iQube is a basic electric scooter with only the utmost necessary features. It ticks all the boxes of being a good electric scooter and is available in three battery pack variants: 2.2 kWh, 3.1 kWh, and 3.5 kWh.

The 2.2 kWh base variant is the most affordable one, and is targeted towards short-city commuters. Be it dropping your kids to the school, or running errands for your home, this will come in pretty handy. It has a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 94 km, and a top speed of 75 kmph. Also, it only takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to charge from 0 to 80% SoC (State of Charge), which makes it a perfect budget scooter.

The 3.1 kWh battery pack variant is the sweet spot in the standard lineup. Here, the range increases to 123 km, and the top speed to 82 kmph. This makes it better for longer commutes and occasional highway stretches while still keeping the costs down. Here, the charging time is increased to 4 hours 5 minutes.

The most expensive iQube Standard comes with a 3.5 kWh battery pack, which pushes the range further to 145km, and the top speed is the same at 82kmph. All of these TVS iQube Standard models come with a 5-inch TFT display, an all-LED lighting setup, bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, reverse mode, and even geo-fencing. In the 3.5 kWh iQube, the charging time is 4 hours and 30 minutes.

      TVS iQube S: 4.7 kWh

Above te standard iQube sits the newly launched TVS iQube S which has a 4.7 kWh battery pack. This new variant replaced the older iQube S, which had a 3.5 kWh battery pack. The claimed IDC range of the new model is 175km, and the charging time is 4 hours. While it is mechanically similar to the standard iQube, for the extra cost you get more premium features and a bigger battery pack. Its feature list includes a larger 7-inch TFT display, voice assist, and hill-hold function over and above the standard model.

      TVS iQube ST: 5.3 kWh

The TVS iQube ST is the premiumest of all the models. It might look similar, but underneath the skin, it gets a 5.3 kWh battery pack, with a claimed range of 212 km. this also makes it one of the longest ranged scooters in its price bracket, and the segment. It gets all the equipment from the iQube S, and adds a touchscreen display, a TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), and even connected features. However, keep in mind that, the additional weight from the bigger battery pack makes it a bit slower than the other variants.

      Our Opinion

For most buyers, the standard 3.1kWh TVS iQube will feels like the smartest pick because it strikes a good balance between range, price, and usability. The ST variant is the most sensible pick for you, if long range and premium features matter the most, but then it also comes with a significantly expensive price tag.

Meanwhile, the entry-level 2.2 kWh variant is perfect for riders with very short daily commutes. Overall, the iQube lineup is popular in India because it prioritises comfort, and practicality over outright performance — which is exactly what you need when travelling on Indian roads. And, that’s also what people who commute actually want.
