Toyota has officially revealed its first all-electric model for India, the Urban Cruiser Ebella EV. This marks a major shift for the brand, which has so far focused on hybrids in the Indian market. With the Ebella, Toyota is now stepping directly into the fast-growing electric SUV space. Essentially, the Urban Cruiser Ebella is Toyota’s version of the Maruti eVitara and is positioned as a mid-size electric SUV aimed at everyday usability rather than headline-grabbing numbers.
