Audi A2 e-tron Will Be Smaller Than The Q4 e-tron
The A2 e-tron will sit below the Q4 e-tron in Audi’s global electric-car line-up. The Q4 e-tron currently serves as the brand’s entry-level EV, but that position will change once the A2 arrives. Rather than being a conventional small hatchback, however, the new A2 is expected to have a relatively tall body with crossover-type proportions. This should allow Audi to maximise cabin space without making the A2 excessively large.
Efficiency Is The A2 e-tron’s Biggest Focus
The new A2 EV’s biggest differentiator will be its efficiency. The new electric Audi car is being developed with the idea of extracting as much range as possible from its battery pack, while keeping its energy consumption low. The upcoming A2 e-tron will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB electric architecture, the same basic EV platform used by models including the Volkswagen ID.3. The platform places the battery underneath the passenger compartment, allowing Audi to maintain a relatively compact exterior while maximising cabin space.

Audi A2 e-tron To Replace Audi A1 And Q2
The new A2 e-tron will play an important role in restructuring Audi’s entry-level line-up.
