Tata Curvv EV Accomplished X 55 Features
For a base variant, the Accomplished X 55 is well loaded. Inside, you get a 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) touchscreen and a 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) digital instrument cluster, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and an 8-speaker sound system. You also get a panoramic sunroof, a six-way powered driver seat, R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation and rear sunshades to keep the back seat cooler in Indian summers.
For driving, you get drive modes to switch between saving energy and quicker pickup. The Curvv EV can also power your appliances with V2L (vehicle-to-load) and charge another EV with V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle).
Tata Curvv EV Accomplished X 55 Safety Features
For safety, you get six airbags, ESC, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot view monitor, front and rear parking sensors and disc brakes on all four wheels. The Curvv EV also has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. Getting a 360-degree camera and blind spot view monitor in the base variant is a strong point at this price.
Tata Curvv EV Accomplished X 55 Range and Charging
The Accomplished X 55 has a certified MIDC range of 502 km. Real-world range is lower, and it depends on speed, traffic, AC use and road conditions. With a 70 kW DC fast charger, it goes from 10 to 80% in about 40 minutes. At home, a 7.2 kW AC wall box charges it from 10 to 100% in about 7 hours 36 minutes, so overnight charging works well. The battery gets a lifetime warranty for the first owner, valid up to 15 years from first registration.
What the Accomplished X 55 Does Not Have
The Accomplished X 55 does not get Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats (it has passive ventilation instead), the bigger 31.24 cm (12.3-inch) touchscreen or the 9-speaker JBL sound system. It also misses the powered tailgate with gesture control, mood lighting, an air purifier, an auto-dimming IRVM and voice assist for the sunroof. All of these come in the Empowered X 55.
What the Empowered X 55 Adds Over the Accomplished X 55
The Empowered X 55 has the same battery, motor and range. For Rs 2.20 lakh more, it adds Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, a 31.24 cm (12.3-inch) touchscreen, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a powered tailgate with gesture control, mood lighting, an air purifier and an auto-dimming IRVM.
Who Should Buy the Tata Curvv EV Accomplished X 55?
This variant suits buyers who want the big 55 kWh battery and 502 km range at the lowest price. You still get the important features, like a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera and six airbags, which makes it the best value Curvv EV. If you drive a lot on highways and want ADAS and ventilated seats, the Empowered X 55 is worth the extra money.
