The Raptee.HV T30 e-motorcycle is designed on a high-voltage architecture derived from electric cars, rather than the systems designed for low-speed electric scooters currently on sale in India. It was stated by Arjun that the company is making electric bikes based on electric car technologies. Due to the same factors, the vehicle, battery systems, controller and motor have a 12-year lifespan.
Additionally, the same vehicle architecture allows compatibility with CCS2 (Combined Charging System Type 2) connectors, utilised in electric cars; this means riders can recharge the motorcycle at 30,000 public charging facilities established across India, which is quite convenient. It was also pointed out by the company that two-wheelers are mostly home-charged in India with longer turnaround times. But with Raptee.HV, their vehicles are claimed to have the capacity to recharge in under 20 minutes.
