Following a recent social media teaser from MG Motor India, complete images of the upcoming Windsor EV Indulge Edition have surfaced online. This limited run model arrives just ahead of the festive season to celebrate two years and over 80,000 global sales of the electric crossover. By focusing on cosmetic enhancements and rear seat luxury, the automaker aims to attract buyers seeking a more premium cabin experience. Dealerships are preparing for a formal launch shortly.
Exterior Styling and Badging
The leaked photographs show the MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition sporting an exclusive ‘Shadow Gold’ exterior colour. To create a strong visual contrast, the manufacturer equipped the vehicle with a gloss black roof, dark body cladding, and blacked-out outside rearview mirrors. The electric crossover sits on 18-inch black alloy wheels finished with a diamond cut pattern.
There are also bespoke Indulge badging positioned on the rear quarter glass panes to highlight its limited production status. Apart from these specific colour treatments and badges, the fundamental exterior design and LED lighting signatures remain identical to the standard version.
Interior Upgrades and Rear Seat Entertainment

Cabin modifications serve as the primary highlight of this new release. The Indulge Edition replaces the standard interior with a richer black and tan seat upholstery. Designers added a bronze finish to the door panels and synchronised the ambient lighting to match this new metallic tone. The vehicle retains its large fixed glass roof to maintain an airy atmosphere for all occupants.
The most significant technological addition caters directly to chauffeur-driven owners. MG has installed a new roof-mounted flip-down display for rear-seat passengers. The manufacturer refers to this entertainment unit as the Prive Screen. While the primary dashboard infotainment system appears unchanged, this dedicated rear screen significantly elevates the luxury quotient of the crossover.
Powertrain Specifications and Battery Options

Mechanically, the Indulge Edition will carry forward the existing hardware without any performance modifications. The standard MG Windsor EV currently offers two battery pack choices. Buyers can select either a 38 kWh battery delivering a claimed range of 332 kilometres or a larger 52.9 kWh unit capable of 449 kilometres. We, however, expect the limited edition might be restricted exclusively to the larger 52.9 kWh configuration. Regardless of the battery size, propulsion comes from a front axle-mounted electric motor generating 136 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque.
What SearchEV Thinks
The introduction of the Indulge Edition allows MG Motor India to refresh the Windsor EV portfolio right at the peak of the festive buying period. By adding premium entertainment features and exclusive styling cues, the company provides a compelling option for luxury-focused buyers. The standard MG Windsor EV currently retails between Rs 14.70 lakh and Rs 19 lakh ex-showroom. Consumers should expect the Indulge Edition to command a slight premium over these existing top-tier variants once the official pricing is announced in the coming days.
