JSW MG Motor India has teased a new limited edition variant of the Windsor EV, called the ‘Indulge Limited Edition’, celebrating two years since the electric car first entered the Indian market. The brand has released a short teaser on its social media handles, highlighting the Windsor’s journey and its growing popularity among customers.
The teaser begins with a silhouette of the Windsor EV before showing several customer photographs. It also highlights the brand crossing the milestone of over 80,000 customers, with the words “India’s No. 1 EV is now ready to indulge.”

What Could Be New With The Indulge Edition?
The teaser doesn’t actually reveal the car or any other edition-specific features. However, the ‘Indulge’ name and the teaser’s emphasis on a business-class experience suggest the upcoming variant could be a premium electric car with several luxury features.
These might include exclusive exterior colours, revised upholstery, new interior accents and dedicated ‘Indulge’ badging. However, none of these changes has been officially confirmed. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time MG Motors India has introduced a special edition of the Windsor.
Last October, MG launched the Windsor Inspire Edition, featuring a dual-tone exterior, special alloy-wheel detailing and a distinctive interior treatment. The previous edition was limited to just 300 units, which is quite an appealing proposition for someone who wants an attractive, exclusive car. A similar approach could be followed for the Indulge Edition as well. But how many units of this limited edition are going to be produced? This still remains a big question. And which variant of the Windsor EV it will be based on is still unconfirmed.
More Details About MG Windsor EV
The existing MG Windsor EV is available with two battery options: a 38 kWh standard version and a larger 52.9 kWh battery offered with the Pro variants. Both use a front-mounted electric motor producing 136 PS and 200 Nm. The Windsor EV Pro also offers a larger battery pack and, on select variants, Level 2 ADAS and V2L functionality, along with a lot of modern features for convenience.

Over 80,000 Customers In Two Years
The MG Windsor EV has become one of the most important and popular products in the brand’s India lineup since its launch in September 2024. The company had already crossed the 75,000-unit sales milestone earlier in July 2026, and the latest teaser now highlights over 80,000 cars on Indian roads, which is an impressive feat.
Much of the Windsor’s appeal comes from its spacious cabin, reclining rear seats, equipment levels and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership option, which lowers its upfront cost significantly.

SearchEV Says
The new Indulge Edition appears intended to celebrate that success while giving the Windsor another update ahead of the festive buying period, which could rack up even more sales with the hype now. We think that the Indulge variant will build over the current MG Windspr EV and give the buyers an option to go even further when buying, capitalising on its premium experience. However, until MG reveals the actual car, its equipment, pricing and powertrain specification remain open questions.
