Hyundai Motor India is expanding its premium electric vehicle portfolio by introducing a new special edition model. The company has officially launched the Creta Electric Lounge Edition to target buyers who prioritise chauffeur-driven comfort and cabin luxury. This new version builds upon the already feature-rich top-tier variant but adds significant aesthetic upgrades and technology enhancements focused heavily on rear-seat passengers.
Exterior Enhancements and Styling
To differentiate the Lounge Edition from the standard electric SUV, Hyundai has introduced an exclusive Golden Bronze exterior colour option. This new paint scheme is complemented by dark accents all around the vehicle. The front and rear skid plates, side sill garnishes, roof rails, and the C pillar trim are all painted black. The outside rearview mirrors and the rear spoiler also receive the same dark treatment. Furthermore, the SUV rides on 17-inch aero alloy wheels finished in black, giving it a much more aggressive stance on the road.
Interior Upgrades and Rear Seat Entertainment
The cabin receives major updates aimed at elevating passenger comfort. The biggest addition is the 11.6-inch rear seat entertainment system. This large screen supports video streaming, OTT applications, interactive gaming, and smartphone mirroring. Audio is channelled through an eight-speaker Bose premium sound system equipped with a front central speaker and a subwoofer.
Hyundai has also refreshed the interior theme. The cabin features silver-coloured trim inserts and new Moonwhite ambient lighting. The seats get a design pattern exclusive to the Lounge Edition, while the rear headrest cushions feature specific Lounge branding. Additionally, the electric model comes equipped with a factory-fitted dashcam and a rear wireless mobile charger.
Battery Specifications and Pricing
Under the floor, the powertrain remains identical to the Excellence Long Range variant. It uses a 51.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor. This setup produces roughly 171 horsepower.
Buyers can choose between standard and dual-tone colour options. Hyundai also offers variants bundled with a home charging unit. Here is the complete ex-showroom price list for the Creta Electric Lounge Edition.
