Why the Exclusive Is the Sweet Spot
Compared with the Excite, the Exclusive costs about Rs 1.30 lakh more, but the upgrades feel worth much more. Most importantly, the 15.6-inch GrandView touchscreen replaces the smaller 10.1-inch unit, making maps and controls far easier to use. Next, the 360-degree camera takes the stress out of parking in tight Indian streets. In addition, 18-inch diamond-cut alloys give the car a far more upmarket look than the base steel wheels.
Cabin Upgrades
Inside, the Exclusive feels clearly more premium than the base model. For example, leatherette upholstery covers the seats, while the dashboard and steering wheel also get leatherette wrapping. Moreover, a 6-way powered driver seat helps you find the right position quickly. A wireless phone charger keeps the cabin free of cables. Of course, the reclining Aero-Lounge rear seats and rear AC vents carry over from the Excite.
Connected Tech and Exterior Touches
The Exclusive also brings 80+ i-SMART connected features, so you can check charge levels and control functions from your phone. Outside, a chrome window beltline and LED cornering lights add extra polish. These lights also improve visibility while turning at night. Meanwhile, the LED headlamps and connected tail lamps stay the same as on other trims.
Charging Tips for Exclusive Owners
Like the Excite, the Exclusive comes with a 3.3 kW AC charger as standard, which needs around 13 hours for a full charge. So, if you drive more than 60 to 70 km a day, consider the faster 7.4 kW wall box. On the go, a 45 kW DC charger adds a big top-up in under an hour.
What the Exclusive Leaves Out
To stay affordable, the Exclusive skips some comfort features. Specifically, it doesn’t get the Infinity View glass roof, ventilated front seats or the 9-speaker Infinity audio system. It also misses 256-colour ambient lighting, ADAS and V2L. If you need those, you’ll have to move up to the Essence or Essence Pro.
Exclusive vs Essence vs Exclusive Pro
| Upgrade to | Extra cost | What you gain |
|---|---|---|
| Essence | About Rs 1 lakh | Glass roof, ventilated seats, Infinity audio, 7.4 kW charger |
| Exclusive Pro | About Rs 1.90
