Tata Motors launched the 2026 Tiago EV in India with a much fresher and more expressive colour palette, when compared to the older model. The new electric hatchback is now offered in six shades across Smart, Pure+ and Creative+ variants. Here’s a closer look at how each colour looks and which type of buyer will prefer it:
Dehradun Dew

Dehradun Dew is the signature launch colour for the 2026 Tata Tiago. It is also easily the most attention-grabbing one too. It gets a bright green finish with a blacked-out roof, which gives it an elegant finish. In our opinion, buyers who want good road presence, should opt in for this shade, as it is quite classy, and also subtle enough.
Sobo Surge

Sobo Surge is also one of the most premium-looking colours in Tiago’s lineup. It feels sophisticated, and works particularly well with the Tiago EV’s black roof, and chrome accents. It looks quite stylish, and is perfect for buyers who want something that is subtly sporty.
Pangong Pulse

Pangong Pulse gives the 2026 Tiago EV facelift a vibrant persona. It feels energetic and modern, helping the popular electric hatchback stand out while still looking clean and mature enough. It is the perfect colour scheme for buyers who want something that is clean and minimalist but not boring like plain white or the grey shades we generally see on electric cars. Also, despite being an entry-level EV, the Tata Tiago feels premium in this shade.
Pure Grey

Pure Grey continues to be one of the safest and most practical approaches that you can take while choosing the Tata Tiago EV’s colour scheme. The clean grey finish gives the Tiago EV a mature appearance and will also hide dust and minor scratches, a lot better than brighter colours. It is perfect for someone who wants to keep their car for a long time, as the Grey colour scheme will most likely age well with the car. Also, ageing well means it will have better resale value.
Daytona Grey

The Daytona Grey’s sporty appearance is quite sporty. The duskier metallic finish highlights the Tata electric hatchback’s sharper design elements and contrasts the new alloy wheels and chrome exterior accents. This is the colour you should go for if you want something eye-catching but go unnoticed without much attention.
Pristine White

The Pristine White colour scheme remains a classic when choosing a colour for the Tiago EV. The clean white finish complements the Tiago’s design particularly well and makes it look slightly larger on the road. It is perfect for buyers who prefer a timeless look over trendy colours.
Our Take
If you want maximum road presence and a futuristic EV feel, Dehradun Dew is easily the standout choice. Daytona Grey and Pure Grey are safer long-term picks with relatively easier maintenance. Meanwhile, Pangong Pulse and Sobo Surge offer a more youthful and stylish middle ground. The Pristine White continues to remain the timeless option for conservative buyers. This expanded colour palette does make the new Tiago EV feel far more modern and expressive than before. But will it help the Tiago EV move away from the budget EV tag? Only time will tell.
