Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A (Long Range) Features

This variant gets every feature in the Nexon EV range. Outside, you get smart digital DRLs, LED projector headlamps, the smart digital X factor, sequential indicators, front fog lamps with cornering, R16 alloy wheels and a welcome and goodbye sequence on the DRLs. A frunk adds extra storage under the hood.

Inside, you get ventilated seats for the driver and co-driver, a voice assisted panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, a 60:40 split rear seat, a rear central armrest, an air purifier with AQI display and multi mood ambient lighting. A rear window sunshade and a cooled and illuminated glove box add comfort.

For tech, it has a 31.24 cm cinematic touchscreen, a 26.03 cm digital cockpit with navigation maps, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay over WiFi, a JBL cinematic sound system (4 speakers, 4 tweeters and a subwoofer) and the Arcade.ev app suite. For safety, you get six airbags, ESP with i-VBAC, hill ascent and descent control, auto hold, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot view monitor, front parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an SOS call button (in select cities) and driver drowsiness detection. ADAS includes traffic sign recognition, lane centering, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking and high beam assist. ADAS only helps the driver, so you still need to stay alert.

This variant has a 7.2 kW AC fast charger, V2L (up to 3 kVA) to power your gadgets and V2V (5 kVA) to charge another compatible EV. It also has a 6.6 kW on-board charger and a 3.3 kW AC wall box, with a CCS2 charging port.

The battery has a lifetime warranty with unlimited km for private individual customers on first registration. Here, “lifetime” means 15 years from the first registration date. From the second registration onwards, the battery warranty is 8 years or 1,60,000 km. The motor has 8 years or 1,60,000 km, and the vehicle has 3 years or 1,25,000 km, whichever is earlier.
