Design and Lighting
The scooter keeps Ola’s clean, rounded S1 design with sporty body decals. It gets LED headlamps, tail lamps, brake lights and indicators, along with front reflectors for better night visibility. A 4.3-inch colour segmented LCD shows speed, battery level, remaining range and the selected ride mode. Running on MoveOS, it pairs with your phone via Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation and incoming call alerts. However, it isn’t a touchscreen like the one on the pricier Ola S1 Pro. Over-the-air updates also bring new features and fixes without a service visit.
Riding Aids and Convenience
The S1 X+ includes riding aids that are rare at this price. Cruise control holds a steady speed on open roads, reducing hand fatigue on long commutes. Meanwhile, reverse mode helps you roll out of tight parking spots without pushing. Riders can also switch between ride modes, including Sports and Eco, to balance pace and range. However, it uses a physical key rather than keyless start.

The S1 X+ offers solid features for its price, but a few gaps remain. It misses a touchscreen, keyless start and a rear disc brake. Even so, its cruise control, ABS and navigation match or beat what family scooters like the Ather Rizta S and TVS iQube offer at similar money.
