MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition Price And Details

JSW MG Motor India has launched the Windsor EV Indulge Edition at Rs 17,88,900 (ex-showroom), introducing several cosmetic and comfort-orientated upgrades to its popular electric crossover, the MG Windsor EV. It is also available under MG’s BaaS (Battery as a Service) model, where its upfront price is dropped significantly to Rs 13.14 lakh, with a battery rental fee of Rs 4.30 per km driven.
The launch comes just days after MG teased the Indulge Limited Edition, celebrating two years of the Windsor EV in India and its growing customer base. The Indulge Edition makes the already spacious Windsor even more comfortable, particularly for rear-seat passengers. However, the electric powertrain remains unchanged.
New Shadow Gold Exterior And Exclusive Styling

The Indulge Edition gets a new Shadow Gold exterior colour, contrasted by a black roof, black ORVMs and 18-inch black alloy wheels. It also features exclusive Indulge badging on the rear quarter glass while retaining the standard Windsor’s connected LED lighting elements and overall design.
MG is also offering a dedicated accessory package that includes a rear sunshade, themed 3D floor mats, chrome grille accents, bumper corner protectors, body-side mouldings and a leather key cover, which feels and looks premium. These changes were previously highlighted in our Windsor EV Indulge Edition leaked images story.
Roof-Mounted Screen Is The Biggest Upgrade

The most significant change is inside the cabin. The Windsor EV Indulge Edition gets new Urban Tan and Black upholstery, along with Indulge embroidery on the front headrests. However, the highlight is the new ‘PRIVE’ screen, a roof-mounted, flip-down entertainment display for rear-seat passengers. It is quite nostalgic as well, because it resembles the flip-down screens that most of the millennials might have seen in older cars from the 2010s.
MG has also added neck cushions for front passengers and special themed pillows for rear occupants. The existing Aero Lounge rear seats, capable of reclining up to 135 degrees, are retained. The familiar 15.6-inch GRANDVIEW infotainment touchscreen also continues to be offered. Together, these changes make the Indulge Edition more focused on rear-seat comfort than the standard MG Windsor EV.
MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition Battery And Range
Mechanically, the Indulge Edition remains unchanged and is offered exclusively with the smaller 38 kWh battery pack, rather than the larger 52.9 kWh unit available on the Windsor EV Pro.
| Specification | MG Windsor EV Indulge |
| Battery | 38 kWh |
| Claimed Range | 332 km |
| Motor | Front-mounted electric motor |
| Peak Power | 136 PS |
| Peak Torque | 200 Nm |
| Drive Type | Front-wheel drive |
| Ex-showroom Price | Rs 17.89 lakh |
The standard Windsor EV Pro, meanwhile, continues to offer the larger battery with up to 449 km of claimed range. This means the Indulge Edition provides additional comfort and exclusivity rather than extended driving range.
Celebrating Two Years Of The MG Windsor EV
The Indulge Edition arrives as MG celebrates two years of the Windsor EV in India. According to the manufacturer, the Windsor EV has reached over 80,000 families during this period, becoming one of its most successful electric vehicles for MG.
Last year, MG introduced the Windsor Inspire Edition to celebrate the model’s first anniversary, bringing exclusive styling and interior upgrades. The new Indulge Edition follows a similar approach but adds a more substantial convenience feature in the form of rear-seat entertainment.
What We Think
The Windsor EV Indulge Edition builds on one of the regular model’s biggest strengths: rear-seat comfort. The new entertainment screen, revised upholstery and additional accessories make it a more premium offering. However, with the same 38 kWh battery and 332 km claimed range; buyers looking for longer driving range will still find the MG Windsor EV Pro more suitable.
