| Variant | Ex-showroom Price |
| Nexus EX+ | Rs 1,29,999 |
| Nexus EX+ Intellipack | Rs 1,35,999 |
30+ Connected Features With Intellipack
The bigger talking point is the optional Intellipack, which brings more than 30 connected features through the Ampere Connect app. These include live vehicle tracking, geo-fencing, Find My Scooter, real-time charging status, turn-by-turn navigation and remote vehicle diagnostics. Riders can also access trip reports, ride statistics, charging history, energy insights and battery health information.
The Intellipack costs Rs 6,000 more than the standard EX+, making it the variant focused on buyers who want a more connected experience. Ampere has also introduced a new IP65-rated charger, providing additional protection against dust and water.
Ampere Nexus EX+ Range And Performance
The Nexus EX+ uses a 3 kWh LFP battery with a claimed 136 km IDC range. Ampere claims the LFP battery has been engineered for a life of up to 2,00,000 km, while the battery itself is covered by a 5-year/75,000 km warranty.
Power comes from a mid-mounted motor producing 5 kW of peak power. The scooter has a claimed 93 kmph top speed and can climb gradients of up to 18 degrees. Ampere also claims a 0-80% charging time of 3 hours and 10 minutes.
| Specification | Ampere Nexus EX+ |
| Battery | 3 kWh LFP |
| IDC Range | 136 km |
| Peak Power | 5 kW |
| Top Speed | 93 kmph |
| Gradeability | 18 degrees |
| 0-80% Charging | 3 hours 10 minutes |
| Ground Clearance | 170mm |
| Seat Height | 765 mm |
Interestingly, the original Nexus was launched in 2024 with a 4 kW peak-output motor and 16-degree gradeability. Ampere’s current Nexus specifications list 5 kW and 18 degrees, but the product page describes the 5 kW motor as hardware that has already “proved itself”, so we wouldn’t treat the motor as an EX+-specific upgrade without clearer confirmation from the brand.
SearchEV Takeaway
The Intellipack and IP65-rated charger are the more relevant changes to focus on with the Nexus EX+. For an additional Rs 6,000, the Intellipack brings a sizeable connected-feature suite, including navigation, live tracking, geo-fencing and battery monitoring. Meanwhile, the underlying package remains competitive on paper.
At Rs 1.35 lakh, however, the Nexus EX+ sits in a fiercely contested electric scooter segment. Its connected features strengthen the package, but Ampere will ultimately need the updated Nexus to translate into stronger volumes against increasingly established rivals like the TVS iQube S, and the Bajaj Chetak C3501.
