Avore ex1 vs oben rorr evo

India’s urban commuters are shifting focus from traditional petrol-powered motorcycles to the adoption of sporty and tech-integrated electric alternatives. The Avore EX1 and Oben Rorr Evo are two compelling electric motorcycles that represent this transition in the urban commuter segment. Both these electric bikes target daily urban commuters, offering appealing design, performance and practical daily utility. But which is the better choice? Let us compare these two e-bikes in detail:

Avore EX1 vs Oben Rorr Evo Design Compared

Avore EX1 Colours  Oben Rorr Evo Colours
      Starlit Blue Neutron Blue
      Meteor Red  Pulse Red
      Stellar Black Magnetic Black
      Photon White

The Avore EX1: This electric motorcycle offers a muscular and modern appeal, with sculpted body panels incorporating aggressive tank extensions and elements such as the LED lighting. The electric motorcycle’s contoured structure resonates as a premium, ultra-modern vehicle, complemented by aggressive textured coverings where the powertrain sits. The split-seat layout also lends the Avore EX1 a proper contemporary appeal while offering good support.

To meet the colour appeal of urban consumers, the Avore EX1 also boasts a well-themed colour palette but is subtle in approach; it comes in Starlit Blue, Meteor Red and Stellar Black colours.

The Oben Rorr Evo: The electric motorcycle takes a much more neo-retro styling approach, featuring design attributes that give it simple styling but feature modern elements of aesthetics. The Oben Rorr Evo hosts a striking dual-tone colour scheme that complements the neo-retro approach that Oben has maintained. The decals add to this modern design attribute to a large extent. The clean body lines and chunky 17-inch alloy wheels lend it a premium appeal as well.

In terms of colour options, the Oben Rorr Evo is offered in Neutron Blue, Pulse Red, Magnetic Black, and Photon White; all are unique, featuring detailed styling elements.

As for build quality, the Avore EX1 and Oben Rorr Evo have it done better than most brands, featuring well-fitted panels, a simple design approach and textured elements.

Avore EX1 vs Oben Rorr Evo | Performance Dynamics:

The following are the performance characteristics and riding dynamics of the Avore EX1 and the Oben Rorr Evo electric motorcycles, which have consumer demand due to the same attributes:

Specifications Avore EX1 Oben Rorr Evo
Battery Capacity  3.24 kWh  3.4 kWh
Peak Power  7.5 kW 9 kW
Peak Torque  250 Nm 250 Nm
Riding Range (IDC)* 160 Km / Full Charge 180 Km
      Charging Time  3 Hours (20-80%) 1 Hour 30 Minutes (0-80%)
Top Speed  100 kmph 110 kmph
      Acceleration (0-40 kmph)  3.2 Seconds  3 Seconds

The Avore EX1 Performance: Powered by a 3.24 kWh capacity battery pack, it delivers 7.5 kW of peak power and has around 250 Nm of claimed torque at the wheel. Featuring 4 different ride modes, the Avore EX1 is designed to suit different riding conditions; it comes with Eco, City and Sport modes, in addition to a reverse mode for seamless drivability.

In Eco mode, the Avore EX1 can be ridden with modest power and torque delivery, ideal to help save battery energy for better range performance. The City mode is a pre-programmed mode that helps riders balance performance in city stop-and-go traffic conditions. Meanwhile, the Sport mode extracts maximum power and torque performance for better acceleration and highway runs.

Speaking of acceleration, the Avore EX1 takes a modest 3.2 seconds to reach 40 kmph speeds. That said, the vehicle can reach a top speed of 100 km seamlessly. While the peak performance is delivered for quick acceleration and better rideability, the recharging times can be a downside; it takes 3 hours to recharge the Avore EX1’s battery from a 20-80 per cent state-of-charge.

The Oben Rorr Evo Performance: This electric urban motorcycle is equipped with an IPMSM (interior permanent magnet synchronous motor) designed for heavy-duty performance. The motor, paired with a high-voltage battery pack, is designed to produce 9 kW peak power and 250 Nm maximum torque output at the wheel. This performance factor helps it reach 110 kmph speeds. Additionally, 0-40 kmph speeds can be achieved in just 3 seconds, slightly better than the EX1.

Like the Avore EX1, the Oben Rorr Evo also gets different ride modes – 4 in exact numbers: SmartIQ, Eco, City, and Havoc. Here, SmartIQ is an AI-driven ride mode that does not restrict the motorcycle to run on fixed performance parameters. Instead, it functions on an adaptive performance delivery to suit different riding conditions. Meanwhile, Eco and City modes lean towards energy efficiency. Havoc, on the other hand, is a pure power-unleashing persona.

What about range efficiency? The Oben Rorr Evo delivers 180 km of range output per fully charged battery under ideal riding conditions, particularly on highways. Moreover, the biggest advantage of using an Oben Rorr Evo is its capacity to recharge quicker; it takes just 1 hour and 30 minutes to recharge from a 0 to 80 percent state of charge.

Nevertheless, now that we have delved into the performance dynamics, let’s check out the features offered with these urban electric motorcycles in India:

Avore EX1 vs Oben Rorr Evo | Tech Integrations

The following table consists of standout features of these two 2026 electric motorcycles in India:

This includes an informative LCD display; an all-in-one mobile application that supports remote health monitoring, trip data and analytics, geo-fencing and theft alerts; and a GPS navigation function, among other features. However, the Oben Rorr Evo is a much more feature-integrated motorcycle.

The Oben Rorr Evo Features: The Rorr Evo comes equipped with a smart TFT display; it features turn-by-turn navigation, calls/SMS alerts, and music controls. Apart from this, the vehicle gets a reverse assist mode to back up the motorcycle seamlessly, a rider fall alerting system, and a driver alert system that prevents accidental throttle twists, which can, otherwise, be dangerous. In addition to these, the bike gets a front glove box and underseat storage space.

The Verdict | Which To Buy?

Still confused regarding which electric bike to choose from this comparison? The following details can help make the right choice:

Ex-showroom Price Avore EX1  Oben Rorr Evo
      Rs 1,24,999 Rs 1,24,999

Buy The Avore EX1 If: you need an electric bike for city commutes, with adequate powertrain performance, comfortable posture and riding ergonomics, and fewer tech integrations. The Avore EX1 is positioned as a practical, no-nonsense electric motorcycle for urban transit.

Buy the Oben Rorr Evo If: you need an electric motorcycle with faster battery recharging time to substantially reduce downtime, need advanced feature integrations such as turn-by-turn navigation, and long-term peace of mind with a solid warranty (8-year battery warranty and 5-year motor, motor controller and BMS warranty).
