Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq: Design: What To Expect?
The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq retains the sharp silhouette, with contoured elements and aggressive styling attributes true to the standard Mahindra BE 6 launched in 2024. But Mahindra has also added more aesthetic elements, ensuring aggressive distinction from the standard BE 6 lineup. Moreover, the Sporteq trim of the BE 6 is expected to feature the following attributes, being a high-spec version:
The Fascia: The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq teaser video provides a glimpse of certain elements to be featured with this limited edition variant, as done with the Batman edition. This includes bold C-shaped LED DRLs, a glossy black closed-off grille section, and silver treatment to the lower bumper portion, also with a dynamic wing channel for aerodynamic efficiency.
The Side Section: The side portion can boast 19-inch aerodynamically suitable machined alloy wheels, wrapped with wider low-rolling-resistance tyres. The vehicle will continue to feature flush door handles and a sharp design architecture, but with wing mirrors now having coloured lighting treatment. The side profile will be more aggressive with a sharp angled silhouette.
The Rear Profile: At the rear, the BE 6 Sporteq continues to carry forward the aggressive styling philosophy featured throughout the vehicle design to give it a mean appearance. The BE 6 Sporteq trims will come with an aerodynamically suitable roof spoiler with an aggressive angled design, indicating that the Sporteq variant is a performance solution compliant with track-spec standards.
Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Cabin Features: What Can Be Offered?
The standout design attribute of the cabin section is the integration of a more user-friendly layout, featuring digital real estate, giving the cockpit a much more futuristic and luxury appeal:
Triple Screen Design: Moving away from the regular twin-screen (infotainment and instrument cluster) layout, the new BE 6 Sporteq will feature a triple-screen design spread across the dashboard. The third display is a dedicated unit for the front co-passenger to avoid driver distractions and enhance the user experience, featuring a similar interface to the XEV 9e.
New Centre Console: Mahindra can revise the central console, moving away from the centrally equipped spine architecture that separates the driver area from the front passenger section. A more modular central-console design layout will be equipped with the new Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq.
New Cabin Colour Theme: A much more premium black and tan seat upholstery, with BE 6 badging, can be provided for a more roomy and refreshing interior cabin feel. This can come as a replacement for the black and grey trim theme used across the regular BE 6 variants. The new BE 6 Sporteq will come with revised trim layouts and colour themes for a much more premium appeal.
