BYD Sealion 7 Gets A New Interior Colour

BYD India has introduced a new Rich Tan & Black interior theme for its Sealion 7 electric SUV, with prices starting at Rs 50.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The new interior combines a rich tan upholstery with black accents across the dashboard, door panels and seats. The contrasting treatment gives the cabin a noticeably different appearance from the existing interior options.

The dashboard and centre console retain their familiar layout, including the large rotating touchscreen, digital instrument console and the distinctive centre-console controls. BYD hasn’t announced any mechanical changes associated with the new interior. It also hasn’t specified which variants receive the colour scheme in the promotional announcement. This follows the earlier introduction of a Tahiti Blue interior with the Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition.

BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic Gets Navratri Festive Offers
Alongside the new interior scheme, BYD has announced a separate set of Navratri benefits for the entry-level Sealion 7 Dynamic. The Dynamic variant starts at Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is being offered with additional benefits on purchase during the festive period.
| Festive Benefit | Details |
| Home Charger | Complimentary 7 kW charger with installation |
| Roadside Assistance | 10 years of coverage |
| Extended Warranty | 10 years/1,50,000 km |
| Loyalty Bonus | Rs 30,000 |
An important thing to note here is that the extended warranty applies to the LFP low-voltage battery and the first owner only. The Rs 30,000 loyalty bonus is also subject to eligibility and the brand’s terms and conditions.
BYD hasn’t specified an offer end date as of now, so customers should confirm availability and eligibility with their nearest dealership, but we think these offers will most probably be available till Diwali 2026, which is just a month away.
BYD Sealion 7 Battery And Range
The Sealion 7 is currently available in three variants: Dynamic, Premium and Performance. The Dynamic was introduced in August 2026 as the new entry-level variant, making the electric SUV considerably more accessible.
| Variant | Battery | Claimed Range |
| Dynamic | 71.8 kWh | 520 km |
| Premium | 82.56 kWh | 567 km |
| Performance | 82.56 kWh | 542 km |
*All range figures are based on the NEDC testing cycle.
The Dynamic variant gets a single rear-mounted motor producing approximately 230 PS and 380 Nm, while the range-topping Premium variant produces 313 PS and 380 Nm. The top-spec Performance variant gets a dual-motor AWD setup producing 530 PS and 690 Nm, with a claimed 0–100 kmph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds.
The Sealion 7 also offers features such as a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, panoramic glass roof, powered front seats and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), with equipment varying between variants.
SearchEV Says
The latest updates give buyers two different reasons to consider the Sealion 7. The Rich Tan & Black interior brings another cabin colour option for customers wanting a more distinctive premium experience.
Meanwhile, the Navratri campaign focuses on reducing ownership-related expenses for Dynamic buyers. The complimentary charger, extended roadside assistance and additional warranty coverage could be particularly useful for long-term ownership. However, the Rs 30,000 loyalty bonus is subject to eligibility, and buyers should confirm the final offer details with BYD before booking.
