The biggest news lies in how quickly you can charge the larger battery. BYD equipped it with their Gen 2 Blade battery tech. This unit supports a massive 1,500 kW DC fast charger. If you find a station powerful enough, the battery will jump from 10 percent to 97 percent in just nine minutes. BYD explicitly states that this flash charging speed will not degrade or harm the battery cells. Standard AC charging for home use operates at 7 kW.
