What's good
-
The scooter offers a practical, real-world range.
-
Its lightweight makes it easy to ride in traffic and park.
-
The high ground clearance helps on bad roads and speed breakers.
What's not so good
-
The top speed is limited.
-
Charging takes close to 5 hours, which is not very convenient.
-
Drum brakes on both wheels feel basic for this price range.
The Ampere Magnus lineup spans a Rs 19,000 gap — from Rs 90,999 for the Neo to Rs 1,09,999 for the G Max NXG.io (ex-showroom) — and unlike a typical feature-based climb, the middle jump from Neo to G Max is really about a bigger 3 kWh battery, while the final step to NXG.io is purely about adding Ampere’s connected IoT suite on top of otherwise identical hardware.
