Zelio has introduced the 2026 version of its X-Men+ electric scooter at ₹60,000, bringing a few practical updates aimed at everyday city riding. As part of the launch, the first 5,000 buyers will receive a complimentary safety helmet. The scooter is offered in four colour options: Dark Knight Black, White, Midnight Blue, and Nardo Grey. The X-Men+ continues to target urban users who need a simple, low-speed option for daily travel. It’s designed for students, office commuters, and anyone covering short distances, especially in a market where running costs are becoming a bigger concern.
Key Specification
The updated X-Men+ delivers a claimed range of up to 120 km on a single charge. Its top speed remains capped at 25 km/h, which means it falls under the low-speed category and doesn’t require a driving licence. The 12-inch rear wheel provides a major upgrade from the previous 10-inch system. The new design will deliver improved stability and balanced ride performance. The scooter uses hydraulic suspension at both ends, which operates with 90/100-10 tyres that are designed for daily city riding. The system can support up to 180 kg, which allows users to transport light objects together with the driver.
The scooter functions through a 60/72V BLDC motor system that requires 1.5 energy units for every charging cycle. Customers have two battery types to select from, which are lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries. Different battery types require different time periods to complete their charging process. The lithium-ion version takes about 4 to 5 hours while the lead-acid variant needs around 8 to 10 hours for a full charge.
Features And Equipment
Zelio has added a set of features that focus on everyday convenience. These include a digital display, reverse gear, parking switch, and USB charging. On the security side, the scooter gets central locking, an anti-theft alarm, and an auto-repair switch. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum combination. It rides on alloy wheels at the front, with a hub motor integrated at the rear. The X-Men+ comes with a two-year warranty, along with a one-year warranty on the battery. This keeps it in line with what’s typically offered in this segment.
The company operates with its established production capacity, which reaches 72000 units for the entire year. The company claims an annual production capacity of 72,000 units, which exceeds 2 lakh customers through its 350 dealership outlets across 20 states and union territories.
Market Context
The low-speed electric scooter segment in India has been growing consistently. Entry-level electric vehicles have achieved higher sales because rising fuel costs and affordable transportation needs drive more consumers to electric vehicles. The product manufacturers have developed their business strategy to enhance product range, product comfort, and essential features of their products while keeping their prices below expensive product levels. The updated X-Men+ system provides a functional solution that people can use for their daily transportation needs in urban environments.
