ZELO Electric has introduced a special edition of its Knight+ electric scooter in India called the Knight+ Rani Edition. The new version has been launched to mark International Women’s Day and will be produced in limited numbers across the country. Compared to the regular model, this version mainly brings cosmetic changes and a different theme, while the mechanical setup stays the same as the standard Knight+.
Limited Edition Design
Only 999 units of the Knight+ Rani Edition will be produced. The scooter stands out with its baby pink colour scheme, paired with white body panels and subtle detailing.
This colour scheme helps the scooter stand out from the regular Knight+ versions. ZELO says the Rani Edition is meant to celebrate confidence and individuality, while also encouraging more women to consider electric two-wheelers. Apart from the styling updates, the scooter continues to use the same Knight+ platform as the standard model.
Battery And Performance
The Knight+ Rani Edition uses a 1.8 kWh removable LFP battery pack, which can be taken out and charged separately from the scooter. ZELO claims the scooter can deliver a range of up to 100 kilometres on a full charge, making it suitable for everyday city commuting. Power comes from an electric motor producing 1.5 kW, allowing the scooter to reach a top speed of around 55 km/h.
Features And Equipment
The Knight+ also gets a few features that are not usually seen in scooters at this price point. For example, it includes Hill Hold Control, which helps prevent the scooter from rolling back when starting on an incline. It also gets cruise control, which helps the scooter keep a constant speed without the rider needing to hold the throttle the whole time.
Another feature is the follow-me-home headlamp. After the scooter is parked, the light stays on briefly so the rider can still see the way in dimly lit areas. The scooter also gets a USB charging port along with the convenience of a portable battery system, making charging more flexible.
Price And Availability
The ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition has been launched at ₹69,990 (ex-showroom).
Bookings for the scooter have opened through ZELO Electric’s authorised dealer network across India. Since production is capped at 999 units, availability may vary depending on demand.
