Extended Warranty and Battery Coverage
The warranty terms offered by Vida lend yet another layer of confidence to the longevity and working performance of the electric scooter. The service essentially covers the vehicle for five years or 75,000 km, whichever comes earlier. Alongside this, the battery, which happens to be a vital and costly component of an EV, is legally warranted by Vida for up to 5 years or 60,000 km. This extended warranty aims to reassure customers with respect to the long-lasting performance and durability of their vehicle and its battery pack.
Assured Buyback Plan
One of the major barriers to EV adoption has been the uncertainty of what happens to resale value. To address these concerns, Hero Vida has started an Assured Buyback plan, under which the company guarantees that after three years of ownership, the customer may sell the scooter back to it for a price of up to 67.5 per cent of the original effective ex-showroom price. This plan allows the customer to secure their finances and get funding for the greatest worry that consumers have in shifting towards electric vehicles.
Flexible Financing with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)
