Komaki Launches the XR7, India’s Longest-range Electric Scooter

The Komaki XR7 is to get a retro-inspired look and will include features like diamond-cut LED headlamp, 12-inch wheels, and a spacious 30-litre under-seat storage space.
Komaki Electric launched the XR7 electric scooter in India at a price range of ₹89,999 (ex-showroom). The company says that the scooter can travel up to 322 kilometers on a single charge with a top speed of 55 km/hr, making it the longest-range electric scooter currently available in the country.
Performance and Battery
The XR7 is equipped with a 3,000W BLDC hub motor, offering smooth acceleration and city-friendly performance. The device is powered by a LiPo4 (LiFePO₄) battery with a lifespan of 3,000–5,000 charge cycles. Komaki claims that this battery is safer and more durable than regular lithium-ion batteries.
Design and Features
The XR7’s retro-inspired design blends vintage aesthetics with modern technology and features like:

The XR7 also features a chrome highlight in the middle of the apron, giving the Ev a classic look. It is available in one variant, XR7 STD, and four color options: black, red, grey, and blue. The brand offers a three-year warranty on the battery, motor, and controller, as well as a one-year warranty on the charger.
Safety Highlights
Safety-wise, the XR7 comes with a telescopic fork in the front and a twin shock absorber setup. The e-scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels on both ends and disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. Additional electronic safety features have been included to improve rider confidence in everyday use.
