Kia’s compact electric SUV, the Syros EV, has been spotted testing in India for the first time. The upcoming EV is expected to go on sale between January and March 2026.
Kia’s entry into the compact electric SUV segment will be the Syros EV, which will sit below the Carens EV. The vehicle will compete with the Tata Punch EV, MG Windsor EV, and Citroën eC3.
It is intended to be built on the K1 platform and will have a practical size, urban-friendly performance, and efficient range. Official booking of the Syros EV is yet to commence, and the market launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, with deliveries following shortly thereafter.
