Tata Motors has added a more affordable all-wheel drive version of the Harrier EV, priced at Rs 26.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Fearless+ QWD 75 variant brings down the entry point for the dual-motor setup by Rs 2.50 lakh. Earlier, the all-wheel drive option was limited to the top-spec Empowered 75 trim. With this update, buyers now have an additional, slightly more affordable option.

What’s New
The key update is the introduction of the Fearless+ QWD 75 variant, which makes the all-wheel drive setup available in two trims instead of just one. Tata has also introduced a new Seaweed Green colour, which is now offered across the Harrier EV lineup.
The QWD variants use a 75 kWh battery with two electric motors, one on each axle, giving it an all-wheel drive setup. Combined output stands at 313 hp and 504 Nm. Tata claims a driving range of up to 622 km on a single charge for this version. The all-wheel drive models also get six terrain modes, along with off-road assist and a boost mode, adding to their versatility.

Features And Equipment
The Fearless+ trim comes with a strong set of features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 6-way powered driver seat with memory, 4-way powered co-driver seat, and ventilated front seats. Other features include a 360-degree camera, JBL 10-speaker sound system, 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and rear sunshades.
However, it does miss out on some features that are offered on the top Empowered trim. These include Level 2 ADAS, auto park assist, a larger 14.53-inch touchscreen, Dolby Atmos sound, a powered tailgate, digital IRVM, and a few extra convenience bits.
Market Context
With this update, Tata is making the all-wheel-drive version of the Harrier EV more accessible to a wider range of buyers, all while keeping the overall price range unchanged. As competition in the electric SUV market intensifies, having more options at various price points becomes increasingly important, especially for those looking to balance performance and cost.
