The Ola MoveOS 6 will be Ola’s first software update that comes with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for two-wheelers. 

Ola has finally announced its next major software update, MoveOS 6, and it is expected to be rolled out by early 2026. To make Ola scooters more technically advanced, smarter, and safer, the new version will feature a range of AI-powered safety and convenience features. 

Features and Improvements

Ola’s first software upgrade to incorporate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for two-wheelers will be called MoveOS 6. Key features include: 

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Blind-spot monitoring
  • Lane departure alerts
  • Collision warnings for both front and rear

The update will also introduce: 

  • AI-powered voice assistant
  • Multilingual support
  • Users may maximize performance and battery life with personalized ride insights.

Technology and Performance

The platform will operate with Ola’s Gen-4 EV platform, which offers: 

  • 15% improvement in energy efficiency
  • 25% reduction in weight
  • 43% drop in costs compared to previous models

Some of the ADAS features will need compatible hardware, which means they can only be available on newer models.

4680 Bharat Cell battery

The reveal took place at Ola’s Sankalp 2025 event, where the brand also showcased its locally developed 4680 Bharat Cell battery, a rare-earth-free ferrite motor, and upcoming products, including:

  • The S1 Pro Sport 
  • The Diamondhead electric motorcycle

MoveOS 6 will play a key role in Ola’s future range, acting as the central operating system for forthcoming models. Expected to launch in early 2026, with updates initially rolling out to flagship models before being expanded to the wider range.
