Ahead of the holiday season, Ola Electric has declared the beginning of its “Ola Celebrates India” campaign, comprising the ‘Muhurat Mahotsav’ festive offers. The campaign aims to create a large-scale awareness to make EVs more accessible and affordable for the Indian consumer. For a limited period of nine days commencing from September 23, some of Ola’s best electric scooters and motorcycles will be offered at never-before-seen prices, with the prices starting as low as ₹49,999.
Aggressive Introductory Pricing
Deep discounts on some of Ola’s most popular models form the essence of Muhurat Mahotsav. In light of the occasion, the S1 X 2kWh scooter and the Roadster X 2.5kWh motorcycle are being offered at the festive price of ₹49,999, which is a huge discount from their normal price and greatly encourages EV uptake. These units are being sold on a first-come basis, with the Muhurat timings announced daily on Ola’s social media pages.
Discounts on Premium Models
The festival discounts are not confined to the entry-level sectors. Ola has also carved out big discounts for its premium models that feature the advanced 4680 Bharat Cell technology. The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) goes for a special festive price of ₹99,999 against the original price range of ₹1,69,999, and similarly, the Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh) is ₹99,999, far less than its original price range of ₹1,89,999.
New Product Deliveries and Launches
The timing of the Muhurat Mahotsav is in conjunction with the delivery schedules for the just-launched 4680 Bharat Cell-equipped vehicles S1 Pro+ and Roadster X+. Thus, deliveries are expected to roll out during Navratri. Ola also announced another vehicle in the sports scooter segment-the S1 Pro Sport, priced at ₹1,49,999, which has an anticipated delivery date in January 2026.
Ola’s Commitment to EV Accessibility
According to a statement from an Ola Electric spokesperson, the aim of this campaign is “to make world-class EVs accessible to every Indian household.” With prices starting at ₹49,999, Ola is trying to break down the barrier of high upfront costs often attributed to electric vehicles. In the middle of the high-demand festive season, with this strategic move, it is time to accelerate the transition to electric mobility in India.
