If you are a frequent visitor at the Nexus Seawoods Mall in Navi Mumbai, you’ll now be greeted with in-mall EV charging station by Tesla, for the first time in the country. You will get the charging station at the B1 level of the mall. The mall has a total of 8 chargers, 4 V4 Superchargers and 4 Destination chargers. The DC-fast charging V4 Superchargers have an output of 250kW while the AC Destination fast chargers deliver an 11kW output.
Alongside the chargers, Tesla has set up a temporary retail space in the mall’s atrium. This allows visitors to get a hands-on look at the cars, take guided walkarounds, and even book test drives.

Tesla: Future plans and strategy in India
Beyond just chargers, Tesla is opening “All-in-One” centers (like the one in Gurugram) that combine retail, high-speed charging, and after-sales service under one roof.
The strategy involves expanding into public spaces like malls and major highways to make EV ownership as seamless as possible.
This Navi Mumbai launch is a clear signal that Tesla is moving beyond just “testing the waters” and is actively building the physical infrastructure needed to support a growing fleet of vehicles on Indian roads
