Vinfast Vf6 & Vf7 India Will Launch on September 6 With Prices Starting at ₹20 Lakhs

Vietnamese EV-only carmaker VinFast plans to make its India debut on September 6, 2025, with the launch of the most-awaited electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7. Both models promise long ranges, a modern look, and affordable pricing to compete with popular EVs on the market.

Background & Context

Both the models were initially displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Additionally, the Vietnamese EV-only carmaker VinFast is starting local manufacturing at its own facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This facility, the brand’s first outside of Vietnam, will initially produce 50,000 units per year, with plans to expand to 1 million by 2030.
