Background & Context
Both the models were initially displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Additionally, the Vietnamese EV-only carmaker VinFast is starting local manufacturing at its own facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This facility, the brand’s first outside of Vietnam, will initially produce 50,000 units per year, with plans to expand to 1 million by 2030.
